Bikers Rally to Support Troops

Take a minute to visit a good cause too!

A savvy group of Internet aficionados have decided to jump feet first into the SEO Contest - v7ndotcom elursrebmem. Ryan Sharrer of NBI Webdesign said after a business associate brought the story of the Patriot Guard to the attention of some fellow webmasters, they rallied together with David Brown who's tracking the SEO contest through his blog, endeavered to win the contest and have the money go to this charity.

These great patriots travel the country as invited guests to military funerals, ensuring our fallen heros are honored without the disrepectful interference of protesters. You can help in two important ways:

Dr. Laura Schlessinger Condemns Homosexuals

Dr. Laura Schlessinger Condemns Homosexuals

This is an older article that has been circulating for awhile and it's authenticity has been questioned, but I still think it raises some good points about how 'over board' are thinking can get, and also how easy it would be to turn the tables on the arguement that homosexuals should be condemned. Of course, having a dark, dry sense of humor, it has lots of appeal for other reason too for me.

You can vote for this article and make comments here.

Dr. Laura Schlessinger is a radio personality who dispenses advice to people who call in to her radio show. Recently, she said that, as an observant Orthodox Jew, homosexuality is an abomination according to Leviticus 18:22 and cannot be condoned under any circumstance.

The following is an open letter to Dr. Laura, penned by a east coast resident, which was posted on the Internet. It's funny, as well as informative:

Dear Dr. Laura:

Thank you for doing so much to educate people regarding God's Law. I have learned a great deal from your show, and try to share that knowledge with as many people as I can. When someone tries to defend the homosexual lifestyle, for example, I simply remind them that Leviticus 18:22 clearly states it to be an abomination. End of debate.

I do need some advice from you, however, regarding some of the other specific laws and how to follow them:

When I burn a bull on the altar as a sacrifice, I know it creates a pleasing odor for the Lord - Lev.1:9. The problem is my neighbors. They claim the odor is not pleasing to them. Should I smite them?

I would like to sell my daughter into slavery, as sanctioned in Exodus 21:7. In this day and age, what do you think would be a fair price for her?

I know that I am allowed no contact with a woman while she is in her period of menstrual uncleanliness - Lev.15:19- 24. The problem is, how do I tell? I have tried asking, but most women take offence.

Lev. 25:44 states that I may indeed possess slaves, both male and female, provided they are purchased from neighboring nations. A friend of mine claims that this applies to Mexicans, but not Canadians. Can you clarify? Why can't I own Canadians?

I have a neighbor who insists on working on the Sabbath. Exodus 35:2 clearly states he should be put to death. Am I morally obligated to kill him myself?

A friend of mine feels that even though eating shellfish is an abomination - Lev. 11:10, it is a lesser abomination than homosexuality. I don't agree. Can you settle this?

Lev. 21:20 states that I may not approach the altar of God if I have a defect in my sight. I have to admit that I wear reading glasses. Does my vision have to be 20/20, or is there some wiggle room here?

Most of my male friends get their hair trimmed, including the hair around their temples, even though this is expressly forbidden by Lev. 19:27. How should they die?

I know from Lev. 11:6-8 that touching the skin of a dead pig makes me unclean, but may I still play football if I wear gloves?

My uncle has a farm. He violates Lev. 19:19 by planting two different crops in the same field, as does his wife by wearing garments made of two different kinds of thread (cotton/polyester blend). He also tends to curse and blaspheme a lot. Is it really necessary that we go to all the trouble of getting the whole town together to stone them? - Lev.24:10-16. Couldn't we just burn them to death at a private family affair like we do with people who sleep with their in-laws? (Lev. 20:14)

I know you have studied these things extensively, so I am confident you can help. Thank you again for reminding us that God's word is eternal and unchanging.

Your devoted fan,

Howdy all!

I know it's been awhile since L3DG has done anything with the v7ndotcom elursrebmem contest page & the blog for that matter... So I thought that it was time for a quick update. We have decided as a firm that we are going to donate the winnings to charity too... As we are in this for the FUN of it & not the $! We will hold a poll at once we win to decide what charity the money will be donated to.

Also we have switched gears a little... We've decided that SEO is SEXY and we have the photo's to prove it ;) Right now there is about 130+ pics... however we have several people helping out in this area... and we are going to make SEO Sexy!

It's also time again for some disturbing news... The Google TBPR has still not been updated and we have inside sources at Google that tell us this contest is why! Look for the latest John Scott interview on soon!

The Contest to beat all contests.

Yea I agree with wrmineo.

elursrebmem is members rule

Kudos have to be given to John Scott for a number of reasons on this clever SEO contest to rank for the keywords v7ndotcom elursrebmem.

First, the synergy, curiosity and creativity that is being generated is a testament to his genius in the realm of online marketing.

Second, the release of the contest keywords "v7ndotcom elursrebmem" is a fun twist on Scott's pride in the webmaster forum he has worked hard to bring to the forefront of the Internet community.

v7ndotcom is obviously the website address of Scott's online marketing site and forum, merely spelled out.

elursrebmem is members rule spelled backwards - a statement of Scott's affection to the members of his webmaster forum community members.

v7ndotcom Schwag

v7ndotcom elursrebmem schwag
The highly anticipated v7ndotcom keyword contest started today! People are already all over Google base sexy huh? We haven't launched our official site yet because we want to watch what comes out of the gates so's to speak.

If you're reading through this and wondering what the hell I'm talking about here's the official rules that were released today at 12:00 noon (PST)

Contest Keywords Announcement

The creation of the contest keywords is a task I approached with more than a little diligence. The contest has grown bigger than I had ever imagined, and adding two words to the vocabulary of the Internet provides us with an opportunity to make a statement.

Some folks suggested a humanitarian statement. "World Peace" written backwards, or something indicating the importance of curing AIDS. These are all lofty suggestions, but I could not help but think that such a statement would be seen as mere lip service. Which indeed it would be.

So I decided to choose keywords which have a more personal meaning. The keywords I chose indicate the value this community places upon community. The v7n community has always been, in my opinion, a couple notches above other forums where community is involved. Several of the members here have been steadfast friends, with whom I discuss personal issues that I'd never discuss with people who I didn't consider to be true friends. I believe this community has created several such friendships, and in that respect v7n is unique among webmaster forums.

To quote a PM I recently received:

When this competition first took off, it just seemed like another competition but this has achieved so much more.

People have jumped on the bandwagon and tried to steal v7n's thunder but you have handled it very well and have come across straight to the point and professional with your replies.

The competition is getting bigger all the time which is good to see.

Also, the extra sponsors jumping in to support v7n and the way the guys here have rallied together (in a professional manner) to support this and defended it is amazing.

I have not known a forum with such team spirit and camaraderie and I can definitely say that when our backs are against the wall, the guys here show their true colors.

Sometimes it takes an unwarranted attack to bring out the community spirit, and with that in mind I offer thanks to Greg Boser.

I also offer my thanks to:

Stoner3221 of Sporge Directory & Skaffe

Jeremy Schoemaker of ShoeMoney Media

Now, the keywords we've all been waiting for:

v7ndotcom elursrebmem

4. In order to qualify for the prize, a web page must include one of the following:

b. One of these Official V7n SEO Contest banners:

The banners may link to V7N, or not link to V7N. Linking the banner to any domain other than v7n will disqualify the contestant.

Just to make this very clear, the banner may be unlinked. You do not need to link the banner graphic to v7n. For those who do not speak English: you do not need to link el-banner-o to v7n-o.

c. The following text:

First moments of v7ndotcom elursrebmem contest

The v7ndotcom elursrebmem contest has started! And has it been a ride already...
L3DG (Rob, Ryan, and myself) have already had a great adrenaline rush today. It started at noon PST when John Scott delivered the rules along with the keywords. We had a Yahoo confrence running while in a tele-confrence with each other. Ryan (having the fastest connection) went for the .net .org .info & .us domains while Rob went for .net .org .info & .us domain names.

Talk about a stressful 2 minutes. Ryan shouts out "I got 'em all" a rush of relief fell over me. Only to be shattered a few minutes later when he said "WTH I only got the .info and .biz" So we got those two with the forward keywords. At the same time Rob was working on the backwards domains and ended up with the .com .net .info & .biz ! We were all happy that we did as well as we did...

Then after talking about our scores I completely forgot about the blog! I was too late for the forwards but did manage to snag the backwards that you're reading right now ;)

Much more to come... please stay tuned

This will be fun!

Suffa sorry suckas ;)
